The keyboard slides our from under the desk. We call this room The Studio because it simply has so many uses, it can’t be narrowed down to one ‘main’ one! Whenever we give in-person skoolie tours, this room is always a big hit.įirst, it is a soundproofed recording studio. It has a Nature’s Head composting toilet and a small shower with hot and cold water. The bathroom is separated off from the living space by a sliding barn door. To the left of the refrigerator is a pantry and more storage space. It has propane/electric absorption fridge, a medium sized sink with hot and cold water, a drinking water filtration system (carbon), and plenty of cupboards and counter space. The kitchen has a 20-inch gas-range with four burners and a small oven (just big enough for our 6 quart dutch oven). The kitchen is José’s domain and his favorite room in the house. The storage space under the sofa is for the visiting artist’s personal items and art materials/gear. With the two long cushions removed, the dinette converts into a single bed. This was a very important part of the design, so that we could host visiting artists for our artist residency program. The dinette and sofa both convert into guest beds as well. 10 people who are comfortable getting cozy, that is! We set this up between the two couches and can host up to 10 people for dinner. We have a 6ft foldable table stored in the ‘garage’ area in the back of the bus. The dinette converts into a second couch, which creates a space for socializing and dinner parties. The dinette serves as José’s photography editing desk, with a photography editing monitor that swings out. On the right is a dinette, with storage drawers underneath each seat. On the left is a sofa, with two large drawers underneath for storage. There is a travel fee for party locations over 20 miles from our base in 48217 where our buses are station.
We observe all federal holidays including Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. All holiday parties will be subject to a $100 upcharge. For parties before 9a or after 1:30a you must call to book this into our calendar. The Paint Bus is open 7 days a week and operates between 7a-2:30a. We do not provide ice but we do provide an ice bucket with two scoopers. Please bring all the paper products as well (cups, plates, forks, etc). We do not move while painting.įood, beverages, cake, icecream, and alcohol are welcome. Either way, patrons just board the bus and paint. We either come to an address you provide or you meet us at a public location. Deposits are the only thing that holds dates. We DO NOT hold dates for any reason or anybody. You can click your desired date and time and check the availability. To view dates we have available, click “Book Now” and our processor will take you to our calendar. That is paid below by clicking “Book Now”. Everything is paid via invoice except the deposit. We do not accept cash or same day payments for anything. No animals allowed on bus except service animals with proper identifying clothing. At least 2 adults must be present and on bus for all children's parties. Rescheduling must be done at least 3 days before your event. You can reschedule your party up to 2 times without forfeiting your deposit. If you and your guests will need the address to the public space or park you choose, call us before or after the deposit is made and we will get you the address promptly so invites can be sent out. If you will need a place to host your party, we can assist you with picking a public park or location.

If you want to reach out to handle payment and confirmation of details before that feel free to do so, however we only reach out two days before UNLESS it’s an issue and we need to amend your booking. TWO days before your event, is when an INVOICE is sent for your remaining balance, your picture is picked, Guest Count given, address where bus is coming to is determined and party is confirmed. Failure to pay 48 hours before your party will result in cancellation of your event and no refunds will be given. Your deposit is NON REFUNDABLE and your remaining balance is due TWO DAYS before your scheduled event. The price DOES NOT decrease if your guest count is less than the included painters included in the cost.
The Paint Bus does not move while you and your party guests paint.
